barman-cli software package provides Client utilities for the integration of Barman in PostgreSQL clusters, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install barman-cli
barman-cli is installed in your system.
Make ensure the barman-cli package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep barman-cli *
You will get with barman-cli package name, version, architecture and description in a table
